Important information regarding a new FMLS rule change.
FMLS has requested that Bridge Listing Input add a new field labeled “Acres (Public Records)” to listings, and that BLI pre-populate this field with data when public records have been used to create the listing.
If the Acreage Source on a listing is set to “Public Records”, then the values in the new "Acres (Public Records)" field and the existing "Lot Size (Acres)" field must match.
For some unfinished listings, and for listings where data is synced from FMLS back into Bridge Listing Input for the first time after this update, you may see a value populated in the Acres (Public Records) field.
If the populated value is incorrect, or if this field is blank, please follow these simple steps in order to publish your listing:
- Change Acreage Source to a value other than “Public Records” or “Not Available”.
- Input the correct value in the Lot Size (Acres) field and publish your listing when ready.
As always, please contact Bridge Listing Input support if you experience any issues with listings as a result of this update.
