To ensure the smoothest experience in Bridge Listing Input, it is always a good idea to make sure your browser is up to date, as well as perform some basic maintenance from time to time.
Here is a list of browsers with some basic maintenance tips:
Basic browser maintenance on the Microsoft Edge browser can be done quickly by just following a few easy steps!
*As of November 2020, Microsoft has released a major update to Edge that has moved around where to find the place to clear the cookies and cache - the new steps can be found below!
New Edge experience:
First, click on the three-point menu up in the top right hand corner of the browser, then click on Settings:
Once on the Settings page, click on the Cookies and Site Permissions button on the left hand side:
Next, click on the Cookies and Site Data button:
After doing that, click on the See All Cookies button:
Finally, click on Remove All:
Old Edge experience:
First we click on the three-point menu icon at the top right corner of the browser.
Next, we will click on the Settings option.
Under the Settings menu you will see the option to Clear browsing data. Click on the Choose what to clear button.
Lastly, we will see a list of check box options. (1)Make sure to only have the 'Cookies and saved website data' and 'Cached data and files' selected. (2)Click on the Clear button and you're done! (3)It's also good practice to turn on the slider option 'Always clear this when I close the browser'.
First, let's make sure we have the latest version of Chrome. In most instances Chrome will update automatically, but we can always download the latest update here.
Now that we have Chrome up to date, let's clear out the browsing data!
Start by first clicking on the Customize and control Google Chrome icon.
In the dropdown menu, hover your mouse over More Tools and choose 'Clear Browsing Data...'
A new window will pop up now with a few options. (1)First, we want to choose the 'Time range' and select the option 'All time'. (2)Next, make sure to only checkmark the options "Cookies and other site data", as well as "Cached images and files". (3)Now we will click the 'CLEAR DATA' button at the bottom right.
That's it! We're all done.
Mozilla Firefox, like Chrome, will update automatically in most cases, but can always be updated here.
Clearing the cookies and cache is a quick process, and will insure an optimal browsing experience. Let's start by clicking on the 'Open menu' icon.
In the menu, click on the 'Library' icon.
Now choose 'History'.
Now let's select "Clear Recent History..."
We will now want to (1)select 'Time range to clear: Everything', (2)under details checkmark only 'Cookies' and 'Cache', (3)then click 'Clear Now'.
We're all done now!
Updating Safari is a simple process. Within the Apple App Store, navigate to the Updates icon at the top right and make sure all programs are up to date.
Clearing History and Website Data can be accomplished easily from the Safari menu at the top left of your browser.
Click on the 'Clear History...' option. (If you do not see this option then you are using an old version of Safari and will need to update first).
Next, simply (1)choose to 'Clear: all history' and then (2)click the 'Clear History' button and you're done!
